KFC real food social campaign
We used the epicentre of Australian satire, The Betoota Advocate (Australia’s answer to The Onion) to create wildly satirical articles that mixed colloquial and questionable language to spread our real food message.
One of our proudest moments was receiving client approval on the line ‘fuck knows where those Buddha bowls come from anyway’. With loads of banter and genuine brand mentions these stories are changing the way we KFC communicates.
The results were bigger than we could have hoped for and have heralded a new strategy for KFC in social spaces, allowing the brand to have a voice through new partnerships.
