With over 20 years’ experience working as a creative in advertising and design, I’ve focused the last 10 years on integrated campaigns, digital, creative technology, brand, promotions, content and media integrations.
My work taps into the fields of design, photography, film, art and literature which I believe is important when dedicated to the art of story-telling. My passion for creative excellence, along with my inner-geek ensure my focus for delivering brand solutions, partnerships and campaigns for clients that are memorable, measurable and future-proof.
I love to mentor and coach and I have passion for teaching the creative process, which I did for many years volunteering for the Australian Communications Council as AWARD school head. I am a proactive and adaptable person, I enjoy overcoming challenges through a tenacious and questioning approach; drawing on wide-ranging creative and technical expertise. I am an articulate and diplomatic communicator and an effective team player with strong leadership skills.
MEDIACOM, NATIONAL CREATIVE DIRECTOR 2016 - 2019
I joined Mediacom over three years ago and spent the time working close to data insights, strategy and investment teams. As Creative Director, I worked across all ATL and BTL campaigns, large or small, plus developed a strong understanding of a more 360-degree way creatives should now be involved and understand their client’s business.
With the marketing industry moving so quickly, I’ve focussed more on how to collaborate, support the business and understand the client’s needs upstream of the investment funnel. I recognised the opportunity in becoming a trusted advisor to clients, meant being involved earlier and helping them see how media and creative can evolve into a successful partnership, both focussing on delivering growth. As Creative Director, I was lead on these clients: Princess Cruises, Indeed, Louis Vuitton/ Moët Hennessy, Kao Brands, Deakin University and Westpac. New business pitches won: Princess Cruises, Indeed & Chandon.
